The Eastern Highlands provincial government has officially deployed newly purchased earth-moving equipment to its works division. The machinery, consisting of a bulldozer, grader, backhoe, dump truck, and excavator, was acquired for approximately K3 million from XCMP PNG Engineering Limited in Lae. A dedication ceremony, led by a Seventh-Day Adventist Church elder, marked the handover of the equipment in early February. This investment aims to enhance the province’s infrastructure capabilities and facilitate road maintenance and construction projects.
