Romania is bracing for a return to extreme heat following a brief period of cooler temperatures. The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) forecasts a significant rise in temperatures throughout the week. Director of Forecast, Florinela Georgescu, announced that temperatures will climb rapidly. Today’s expected highs range from 24 to 28°C, but by the end of next week, temperatures are predicted to soar. The heatwave is expected to push temperatures past 40°C in certain areas of the country. This follows recent storms and a temporary respite from the summer heat.
