Václav Luks and his ensembles, Collegium 1704 and Collegium Vocale 1704, performed George Frideric Handel’s lesser-known oratorio, *Susanna*, at the Smetanova Litomyšl festival. The performance featured Kateryna Kasper in the title role of Susanna, alongside Gabriel Díaz as her husband, Joacim, and Pavol Kubáň as her father, Chelsiase. Soprano Tereza Zimková portrayed the prophet Daniel within the oratorio. The festival presentation brought renewed attention to this work by the Baroque composer. The production highlighted the vocal talents of the featured soloists. The performance was well-received by attendees of the festival.
