Businessman Hamza Umar has announced his candidacy for the Deputy National Organizer position within the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Umar, originally from Tafo in the Ashanti Region, aims to revitalize grassroots engagement and improve coordination throughout the party. He plans to bridge the gap between the NDC’s national, regional, and constituency levels, empowering local members with increased influence in party decisions. His experience includes serving as President of the Local National Union of Ghana Students at the University for Development Studies (UDS). He has also been actively involved in NDC campaigns at both the constituency and regional levels.
