Residents of a Hague neighborhood evacuated Friday due to the discovery of a drug lab have been permitted to return home. Police completed dismantling the lab Saturday, after temporarily re-evacuating 150-200 people due to potential hazardous substances. The lab was discovered after a resident reported a strange odor, leading to the arrest of a 39-year-old man attempting to flee the scene. Three additional men, aged 34, 44, and 71, have also been detained for suspected involvement. Hague Mayor Van Zanen expressed outrage, deeming the lab "irresponsible" given its location in a residential area. Local residents echoed these concerns, highlighting the danger posed to children and the community. The type of drugs being produced at the lab remains under investigation.
