The Greek Public Employment Agency (DYPA) has reported a significant impact from its programs in Central and Western Macedonia between 2019 and 2026. A total of 76,830 individuals have benefited from DYPA’s training initiatives during this period. Overall, across all programs, 146,556 people have been supported. Notably, the region has experienced an 18.9% decrease in the average number of registered unemployed individuals. These figures highlight the agency’s efforts to address unemployment and enhance workforce skills within the region. DYPA’s data underscores its role in fostering employment opportunities and supporting economic growth in Central and Western Macedonia. The agency continues to implement programs aimed at further reducing unemployment and improving job prospects.
