Goodwill (Tanzania) Ceramic Co Ltd is significantly expanding its manufacturing capabilities in Dar es Salaam with a new investment exceeding 528 billion Tanzanian shillings. The expansion includes the addition of two new production lines: Tile Line 3 and Daily-Use Porcelain Phase II. This investment is projected to generate 1,000 direct employment opportunities for Tanzanians. Daily tile output will increase to 180,000 square metres, alongside a rise in porcelain production to over 200,000 pieces daily. The groundbreaking ceremony for the new lines took place on Wednesday, signaling a strong commitment to growth within Tanzania’s manufacturing sector. This sizable investment underscores Goodwill’s position as a key player in the Tanzanian ceramic industry. The project aims to bolster domestic production and potentially reduce reliance on imported ceramic materials.
