Golomt Bank is initiating a selection process for independent members of its Board of Directors, in accordance with Mongolian Company Law and regulations set by the Bank of Mongolia. Candidates must possess a higher education in finance, economics, or a related field, with at least ten years of professional experience, including a minimum of five years in a managerial role within a financial institution. Applicants cannot have conflicts of interest, outstanding debts, or a criminal record related to economic crimes or national security. They must also demonstrate high ethical standards and avoid any involvement that could negatively impact the bank’s decision-making processes. Furthermore, candidates should not be significant shareholders or have recently held executive positions within the bank or its affiliates, and must not receive performance-based bonuses from the bank. The aim is to ensure effective oversight of the bank’s operations and management.
