Gold prices in Bangladesh have decreased for the second time this week, according to the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS). The price of 22-karat gold, the highest quality available, has been reduced by 4,432 Bangladeshi Taka per tola (11.664 grams). This brings the new price to 218,350 Taka per tola. The revised pricing took effect at 10:00 AM local time on Thursday, June 11th. BAJUS cited a decline in the price of pure gold in the local market as the reason for the adjustment. This latest decrease follows a previous reduction earlier in the week, offering some relief to consumers and jewelers alike. Further details regarding the extent of the pure gold price decrease were not immediately available.
