A large, pink rabbit sculpture by artist Ottmar Hörl is now installed on the roof of Vienna’s Albertina museum. The artwork will remain on display until the end of the year, offering a striking visual addition to the city’s skyline. Hörl designed the sculpture based on the famous hare depicted in Albrecht Dürer’s iconic 1502 engraving. The installation provides a playful contrast to the museum's classical architecture. Museum officials hope the sculpture will attract visitors and spark conversation about art and culture. This temporary exhibit intends to be a widely visible and accessible piece of contemporary art for the public. The sculpture’s vibrant color and unusual location are intended to be eye-catching and thought-provoking.
