The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s Nkabom Collaborative has launched a pitch session to provide business funding to young agripreneurs. The initiative follows a nine-month program—the Multi-purpose Integrated Programme (MIP)—designed to equip participants with practical skills in various agricultural fields. Training covered greenhouse vegetable production, agribusiness management, poultry and micro-livestock farming, and tree crop seedling production. Participants then gained hands-on experience at a dedicated MIP facility, supplemented by mentorship and internships within the agribusiness sector. The Mastercard Foundation is partnering with KNUST on this program to support the development of Ghana’s agricultural entrepreneurs. The pitch session aims to identify promising ventures for investment and further growth.
