The Ghana Youth Federation (GYF) has established a new chapter in the Eastern Region, aiming to foster greater youth involvement in national development. The launch event, held on August 6, 2026, brought together 79 youth leaders from all 33 districts within the region. This expansion signifies the GYF’s commitment to creating a unified platform for young people to contribute to Ghana’s progress. Alongside the chapter launch, interim regional executives were officially appointed to spearhead mobilization initiatives. The GYF intends to use this regional structure to better represent and advocate for the needs of youth throughout Eastern Ghana. This move is expected to empower young leaders and amplify their voices in decision-making processes at both regional and national levels. The federation hopes the new chapter will gather momentum and become a driving force for positive change.
