Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang emphasized the necessity of equal access to digital opportunities for girls and young women in Ghana’s evolving technological landscape. She highlighted the growing importance of digital skills across key sectors including education, employment, and business. The Vice President made these remarks at the graduation ceremony of the Tech4Girls programme, hosted by the Heritage and Cultural Society of Africa Foundation (HACSA) in Accra on September 29. Eighty young women graduated from the Tech4Girls programme at the event. The graduation ceremony was also part of the celebrations commemorating HACSA’s tenth anniversary. The push for inclusivity aims to ensure Ghana’s future benefits from the contributions of all its citizens in a digitally-driven world.
