The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a stern warning to school administrators regarding post-examination festivities. Headmasters who permit flamboyant displays and the exchange of expensive gifts on school premises may face dismissal. This directive aims to curb excessive celebrations following the completion of student exams. The warning was delivered by the Director-General of the GES, Professor Ernest Kofi Davis. He detailed these consequences during a press briefing held on Monday, June 22. The GES intends to maintain discipline and modesty within educational institutions. Administrators are now expected to ensure that such events do not violate professional standards.
