A significant step forward has been made in the construction of Galați’s highly anticipated outer bypass, a crucial infrastructure project for the region. The 32-kilometer route, designed to divert heavy traffic away from the city of Galați, received approval from the National Company on July 17th. This project addresses long-standing concerns about traffic congestion within Galați municipality. The bypass is expected to significantly improve traffic flow and reduce commute times. Economic indicators for the project have also been approved, paving the way for further development. Completion of the Centura Mare will boost regional connectivity and support economic growth in Galați county. This is considered one of the most important infrastructure projects in the area.
