The French government is launching 114 digital transformation projects aimed at streamlining citizen services. These initiatives include the possibility of remotely renewing driver’s licenses and national identity cards. Online passport renewals are also being expanded nationwide. Citizens could soon obtain certificates of residence digitally, and pay local taxes electronically. Many of these projects are already significantly advanced, with some exceeding 90% completion. A mobile application is also in development to further enhance access to these services. The government aims to modernize public administration and improve convenience for citizens.
