Four individuals have been detained in Călărași following a criminal investigation. The suspects are accused of using their own children for the purpose of begging. These arrests followed a series of police searches conducted within the municipality. As a result of the operation, the involved minors were taken into custody. They are now under the care of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection. The agency is currently evaluating the children's situation to establish necessary protection measures. This legal action aims to address the exploitation of minors within the family unit.
