A former central leader of the Islamic Chhatra Shibir, Zisan Mia Pradhan, has been sent to jail following interrogation regarding charges of rape and forced abortion. Pradhan was arrested in connection with the case and was held for two days of questioning by the District Police Detective Branch (DB). Following the interrogation, he was presented before the Cumilla court. The court subsequently ordered his detention in Cumilla Central Jail.
