A flight traveling from Trondheim to Munich was forced to land at Oslo’s Gardermoen Airport on Saturday evening due to reports of smoke in the cabin. Authorities at Avinor and the police confirmed the incident to NRK. Two firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus were deployed to investigate the source of the smoke. However, firefighters ultimately found no smoke or smell of smoke inside the aircraft. Police officials described the situation as “undramatic” around 8:45 PM local time. The cause of the initial smoke report remains unclear, but no immediate danger was detected.
