A powerful storm triggered a flash flood in Bușteni, Romania on Sunday afternoon, causing significant damage and disruption. The national road DN1 and other streets, including Telecabinei Street, were inundated with water. Authorities are currently responding to the emergency situation. Tragically, one woman was swept away by the floodwaters at the town’s entrance, and her whereabouts are currently unknown. Dozens of vehicles were caught in the rapidly rising waters on roads throughout the city. The extent of the damage is still being assessed as rescue and recovery efforts continue. Local authorities are urging residents to avoid travel in the affected areas.
