A devastating flash flood in Rasuwa, Nepal has left nearly 400 Kailash-bound pilgrims unaccounted for. The majority of the missing individuals are Indian nationals, with 93 Nepali citizens also among those out of contact. The incident occurred as the pilgrims were preparing to cross the border into Tibet on Wednesday. The flood caused widespread damage, sweeping away roads and vital infrastructure in the area. Communication has been severely hampered due to the destruction, making rescue and search efforts challenging. Authorities are currently working to assess the full extent of the damage and locate the missing pilgrims, but the situation remains critical. This natural disaster poses a significant threat to the safety of those undertaking the religious pilgrimage.
