A woman in Lapua, Finland, reported an incident of indecent exposure while swimming at Lake Simpsiö. According to Ilkka-Pohjalainen, the woman noticed a man sitting near the lake while she was swimming. He then allegedly revealed himself to her. This is not an isolated incident, as other women in the area have reportedly experienced similar encounters with the same individual. Police are currently investigating the reports of this “self-revealer” harassing swimmers. The incidents have caused distress amongst local women using the popular swimming spot. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to aid in the investigation and apprehension of the suspect.
