A fire broke out in a bedroom of an apartment building in Revontie, Haukipudas, Finland, on Tuesday morning. An adult and three children under the age of 15 were exposed to smoke but managed to evacuate the building before firefighters arrived. Paramedics transported all four to a hospital for further treatment. The fire department received the alarm shortly before 7:00 AM. According to on-duty fire chief Antti-Juhani Ervasti, the fire originated in one of the apartment's bedrooms and is suspected to have been caused by children playing with fire. The incident highlights the dangers of fire and the importance of fire safety education.
