A head-on collision between two trucks occurred on highway I/38 near Štoky in the Havlíčkobrod region of the Czech Republic Friday morning. Both vehicles caught fire following the impact. Tragically, both drivers perished in the accident, according to fire department spokesperson Petra Musilová. The road is currently closed to traffic, with police diverting vehicles. Authorities anticipate the closure will last for several hours, and drivers traveling between Jihlava and Havlíčkův Brod are advised to seek alternative routes. Police spokesperson Jana Kroutilová confirmed the traffic diversion is in effect due to the ongoing situation. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
