Relatives of former Romanian officials Radu Mazăre and Nicușor Constantinescu are poised to receive substantial financial gains from a new luxury hotel project. Sources indicate the family members and their associates stand to collect approximately 25% of the revenue generated by the Radisson Blu hotel currently under construction in Mamaia, a popular resort town. Radu Mazăre previously served as mayor of Constanța, while Nicușor Constantinescu was the former president of the Constanța County Council. The project, undertaken by Building Project & Plans, recently received construction authorization. This development raises questions regarding potential conflicts of interest given the former positions held by Mazăre and Constantinescu. The anticipated earnings for the relatives are estimated to be in the millions of euros.
