A photographic exhibition titled “Volver a Verte” (To See You Again) was presented at the Organization of American States (OAS), documenting the resilience of families with relatives imprisoned for political reasons in Venezuela. The exhibit features the work of photographer Rafael Hernández, alongside contributions from photojournalists Maryorin Méndez, Juan Barreto, and Leo Álvarez. The photographs aim to highlight the struggles and unwavering determination of these families as they advocate for the release of their loved ones. The exhibition serves as a visual testament to the human cost of political imprisonment in Venezuela. It provides a platform to raise awareness about the situation and amplify the voices of those affected. “Volver a Verte” is currently on display at the OAS headquarters. The project was first reported by EL NACIONAL.
