Turkey’s Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) has opened access to a system allowing candidates for the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) to update their educational information. This system addresses issues where student data does not automatically transfer from the e-School system. Candidates can now verify, update, and confirm their details through the Public Institutions Transactions System. The update also facilitates the process for students claiming school valedictorian status. This measure aims to ensure accurate application data for the upcoming university entrance exams. The system is now live and available for eligible candidates to utilize. ÖSYM implemented this to streamline the application process and minimize discrepancies in student records.
