A former housekeeper is suing Sara Netanyahu, the wife of Israel’s Prime Minister, for $100,000, alleging both verbal and physical abuse. The lawsuit claims Mrs. Netanyahu physically shoved the worker against a wall while reportedly shouting abusive language, including derogatory terms referencing intellectual disability. The former employee also alleges demands for payment for a purported autism diagnosis, despite having no medical qualifications. This is not the first legal challenge involving accusations against Mrs. Netanyahu regarding the treatment of household staff. Past cases have involved similar claims of mistreatment and difficult working conditions. The lawsuit is currently proceeding, and Mrs. Netanyahu has not yet publicly addressed these new allegations. The claims raise further questions about the conduct of the Prime Minister’s wife and her interactions with those in her employ.
