The European Union has congratulated the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) on the successful launch of its new instant payment system, TIPS Clone. EU Delegation head Luigi Soreca announced the EU's support for the project, totaling two million euros, via a post on X. This new system aims to modernize Bosnia and Herzegovina’s payment infrastructure, enabling faster and more efficient transactions. The initiative marks a significant step towards aligning the country’s financial systems with European standards. The CBBH’s launch signifies progress in enhancing financial accessibility and economic integration within the region. The EU views this as a crucial milestone in strengthening economic ties and supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina’s development.
