The European Parliament has approved a protocol extending the existing air services agreement between Morocco and the European Union to include Croatia. The agreement passed with a significant majority of 625 votes in favor, with only 16 opposing. This expansion allows Moroccan and European airlines to service Croatian airports under the established common rules already in place for other EU member states. Final approval now rests with the EU Council. The move facilitates increased air traffic and connectivity between Morocco, Croatia, and the wider European Union. This accord builds upon the established aviation relationship between Morocco and the EU, streamlining air transport regulations. The agreement is viewed as a positive step for economic cooperation and accessibility.
