A €1.1 million project, funded by the European Union and bilateral donors via the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF), has begun its final phase in Visoko, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project aims to secure a permanent, safe drinking water supply for approximately 5,000 residents. The funding is being supplemented by contributions from the City of Visoko itself. This latest phase builds upon previous improvements to the Visoko water supply system. The initiative demonstrates continued EU commitment to infrastructure development in the Western Balkans. Contracts for the final phase were signed today, marking a significant step towards improved public health and quality of life for the community. The project is expected to have a lasting positive impact on the region.
