Equinor and its partners have agreed on a development plan for the “Ringvei Vest” project in the North Sea. The substantial project aims to unlock approximately 240 million barrels of oil equivalent by connecting seven discoveries and one prospect to the Troll B platform. This represents a significant step forward for one of the largest early-phase developments on the Norwegian continental shelf. Equinor anticipates production to begin in 2031. The development will utilize subsea infrastructure, involving the drilling of a total of 13 wells across six well templates. Equinor officials state the solution maximizes resource utilization following extensive collaboration with partners and authorities.
