Colombian multi-utility company EPM will expand its popular Christmas lights display – known as "Alumbrados" – to 14 municipalities in Antioquia province. This initiative is part of the fourteenth edition of “Encendamos la alegría” (Let's Light Up Joy), an annual program run by EPM. This year's program specifically focused on promoting responsible citizenship and the legal use of public services. The expansion aims to drive tourism in these selected areas during the holiday season. The chosen municipalities were selected through a competitive process evaluating proposals. EPM hopes the displays will encourage economic activity and foster a sense of community pride. The project represents a significant investment by the company in regional development and festive cheer.
