Ahead of the “Between the Seasons” break – the period between high school graduation and the start of yeshiva year – the Israeli religious news outlet Srugim has launched a new feature. This guide aims to assist graduating high school students in selecting a yeshiva or pre-military preparatory program (“mechina”). The series provides detailed profiles of leading institutions, beginning with Yeshivat Har Etzion, commonly known as “HaGush.” The initiative intends to offer students a comprehensive overview of available options for continued Torah study. It focuses on yeshivas and mechinot within the Religious Zionist movement. The guide serves as a resource for students navigating the important decision of their post-high school religious education path. Srugim intends to cover multiple institutions in subsequent installments.
