Thai bus operator Choedchai Tour initiated a fully electric bus service connecting Nakhon Ratchasima and Bangkok on October 10, 2026. The launch comes amid increasing diesel prices and a growing desire among transport companies to reduce both fuel expenses and air pollution. To promote the new service, Choedchai Tour is offering ten days of free rides to passengers travelling between Nakhon Ratchasima (also known as Korat) and Bangkok. The first bus departed from Platform 17 at 09:00 on the launch date. This initiative represents a move towards more sustainable transportation options in Thailand. The company hopes the electric buses will be a popular alternative for travellers on the Nakhon Ratchasima-Bangkok route.
