A 65-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Trajouce, Portugal, on the EN 249-4 national road. Emergency services, including firefighters from Parede, the National Institute of Emergency Medical Services (INEM) with a medical emergency response team (VMER), and psychological support personnel, responded to the scene. Police (PSP) were also present to investigate the incident. The circumstances leading to the pedestrian being hit are currently under investigation. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity. This incident resulted in road disruptions while emergency personnel worked at the location.
