The search for three Bosnian mountaineers missing on Mount Elbrus has been paused due to dangerous weather. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Ambassador to Russia, Ivan Orlić, confirmed the suspension to BHRT, citing extremely high winds. The group of seven climbers from Zenica initiated a nighttime ascent of the mountain, before contact was lost with three of them. Rescue operations were underway but became too hazardous to continue amidst the storm. Authorities are monitoring the situation and will resume the search when conditions improve. The families of the missing climbers have been informed of the developments.
