A meeting of the National Economic Council’s Executive Committee (ECNEC) is currently underway in Dhaka, Bangladesh, chaired by Prime Minister Tareque Rahman. The meeting began at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 7th, at the Cabinet Conference Room in the Secretariat. Thirteen projects are slated for approval during the session. The total estimated cost for implementing these projects is 162,075.55 million Bangladeshi Taka. Government funding for these projects is expected to reach 106,008.80 million Bangladeshi Taka, with additional funding coming from project loans and other sources. Further details regarding the approved projects will be released following the conclusion of the meeting. The purpose of these projects are to promote the economic growth of Bangladesh.
