The Norwegian Police Directorate announced the airspace over Østlandet is now open as usual. Temporary restrictions had been implemented over Østlandet in connection with the funeral of King Harald on Wednesday. These limitations were put in place as a security measure during the period of national mourning and the formal ceremonies. The Directorate confirmed the lifting of the restrictions in a press release issued today. Normal air traffic operations have resumed throughout the affected region of Østlandet. This follows the conclusion of the royal funeral proceedings.
