A Dutch man, known only as Simon, has revealed he is the biological father of at least 199 children, significantly more than the previously known 121. The information comes in a letter to parents obtained by Nieuwsuur, detailing the births across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and another European country. Simon claims to have ceased sperm donation, after years of operating both through clinics and directly connecting with parents online. He admits to providing inconsistent information about the total number of children fathered and acknowledges he withheld the full extent of his donations, causing incomplete information for the parents. The Ministry of Health was aware of his prolific donations in 2017 but took no action, and he was even involved in evaluating donor legislation two years later. Mothers have also reported misleading behavior, including sexually suggestive messages, and express concerns about his continued activity.
