A driver in Vietnam injured a traffic police officer and then fled the scene after making an illegal left turn. The incident occurred when the officer signaled for the vehicle to stop after observing the prohibited maneuver. Instead of complying, the driver accelerated forward, intentionally colliding with and injuring the officer. Following the assault, the driver immediately sped away, evading immediate apprehension. Authorities are currently investigating the incident and pursuing the driver responsible for the hit-and-run. The extent of the officer’s injuries remains unknown at this time.
