Romanian telecommunications provider DIGI has become the first in the country to integrate the national RoPay system for bill payments, partnering with ING Bank Romania and TRANSFOND. This new, fully digital solution allows DIGI subscribers to make instant payments directly through their banking applications, removing the need for manual card details entry. The service supports both e-commerce style payments and those made by scanning a QR code directly on the bill. The partnership aims to provide a secure and convenient payment method for customers. This integration streamlines the bill payment process and enhances the digital experience for DIGI’s user base. The system is now live and available for all eligible subscribers.
