The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), Bangladesh’s premier stock market, experienced a broad-based rally today, with the prices of most shares and units increasing. Throughout the trading session, an upward trend prevailed, indicating positive investor sentiment. A total of 338.11 million shares and mutual fund units from 395 companies were traded in 245,814 transactions. The financial value of these transactions exceeded 1,110.74 crore taka (approximately $1.1 billion USD). This surge in activity suggests renewed confidence in the Bangladeshi stock market. The increase in share prices and trading volume points to a potentially strengthening economic outlook.
