A prolonged drought has impacted the Terčino údolí landscape park and popular tourist destination in Nové Hrady, Českobudějovicko. A key landmark, an artificial waterfall fed by the Stropnice river, has disappeared due to the lack of water. Visitors to Terčino údolí will no longer be able to view the waterfall as the river continues to dry up. The park remains a scenic location, though altered by the dry conditions. Photographs showcase the romantic landscape currently experiencing the effects of drought. This highlights the growing impact of climate change on Czechia’s natural attractions. The loss of the waterfall serves as a visible sign of the severity of the drought in the region.
