A new book, “Typo života běh = Solpera,” has been released showcasing the work of prominent Czech typographer Jan Solpera. The publication features a collection of his fonts, logos, and posters, highlighting his significant contributions to Czech design. Solpera’s career also encompassed book cover design and postage stamp creation. Currently, an exhibition in Plzeň (Pilsen) is dedicated to celebrating his artistic output. The book and exhibition aim to recognize Solpera as one of the most important figures in Czech typography. The release coincides with renewed interest in his extensive and influential body of work. The exhibition provides a visual companion to the published collection.
