A gathering of Liaz trucks took place this weekend in Mnichovo Hradiště, Czech Republic, celebrating the iconic Czech brand. The Liaz factory was established in the town in 1953 and became a significant employer in the region. At its peak, the factory employed approximately 2,500 people and produced around 45 trucks daily. These vehicles gained recognition not only within Czechoslovakia but also internationally, appearing in events like the Dakar Rally and finding use in countries including Cuba and North Korea.
