Severe thunderstorms swept across parts of the Czech Republic overnight, causing significant damage and widespread power outages. The storms were particularly intense in the Hradec Králové region, where trees were uprooted. Nearly one thousand people lost electricity in the Pardubice region, with several thousand more affected in Liberec. Firefighters in Liberec responded to dozens of calls regarding fallen trees obstructing roads and posing hazards. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the severe weather.
