Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš has expressed dissatisfaction with a controversy surrounding properties acquired by Ondřej Prokop, the leader of the ANO movement in Prague. Babiš stated he will await Prokop’s explanation before the ANO committee responds to the situation. Prokop has defended the purchases as legal. The controversy centers on Prokop’s failure to disclose three cooperative apartments in his asset declaration, for which he is prepared to pay a fine. The issue arose during a European summit where Babiš addressed the media. The ANO movement will determine its course of action following Prokop’s response.
