Czech MP Marek Novák (ANO party) was the victim of a disturbing online hoax. An unknown hacker gained access to his Facebook profile and posted a fabricated death announcement, complete with a mock obituary detailing a funeral date. The announcement falsely stated Novák had died after a short illness, scheduling a funeral in Zlín. However, the hacker mistakenly used last year's date on the fabricated obituary. Novák, currently traveling abroad, is reportedly angered by the incident and is unable to access his account to remove the false post. Authorities have not yet commented on the matter, and the investigation into the hacking is ongoing.
