The People's Party (Lidovci), led by chairman Jan Grolich, has decided to initiate a vote of no confidence in the government of Andrej Babiš in the Czech Republic. They intend to seek support from other opposition parties. Members of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) and TOP 09 will also contribute signatures to call for an extraordinary session of Parliament. Grolich stated the government is taking actions that will significantly indebt the country in the future, necessitating the use of all available measures. The move signals growing opposition to the current administration's policies within the Czech political landscape. This vote of no confidence represents a significant challenge to the stability of Babiš's government. It remains to be seen whether the opposition can garner enough support to succeed.
